These pages will contain information for those interested in applying for EU funding, e.g information regarding proposals, formal information about UMB to use in applications, administrative support, etc.


Administrative support
UMB has a central support team for EU projects consisting of an EU-counselor, a legal advisor, a financial advisor and a business relations contact. The departments also have administrative personnel with EU project competence. Additionally, UMB cooperates with an external consulting firm which will support the university developing applications and running projects.

We can help you with the following:
- Identifying relevant calls for proposals
- Preparing and developing proposals
- Budgeting
- Finding relevant EU policy documents, EU contacts etc.
- Putting together consortium agreements- Negotiating contracts with the commission
- Financial support for designing EU applications (Project Establishment Support (PES))

Consulting
UMB cooperates with a consulting firm named PERA, which will assist the university in preparing and developing applications and running projects. The company has longterm experience both when it comes to running their own EU projects, guiding clients and evaluating applications for the EU Commission. Their services are already paid for. Please contact our EU advisor if you are in need of consulting services.

Quality control of applications, consortium agreements and contracts for 7RP
We offer to perform quality control on applications, consortium agreements and contracts for EU’s framework program. The intention is to increase the success rate by securing the quality of the applications, and to ease the process for researchers and the departments. The Research department has developed a routine procedure for quality control:
