NUFU and UMB

UMB had eleven projects under the 2007-2011 NUFU programme period and three from 2008-2012 (one is a NUCOOP project in Sudan). Most NUFU projects are now finished; only two Gender projects and the NUCOOP project will finalize their no-cost extension year by December 2013).

NORHED: New programme after NUFU and NOMA
The new Norad-coordinated programme
NORHED (Norwegian Programme for Capacity Building in Higher Education and Research for Development) received 33 applications from UMB under the main call for proposals. Seventeen seed-funding projects were funded by NORHED and the activities were terminated by 15 March 2013.
