UMB-educated students from Pakistan help flood victims in home country

As the severity of the flood catastrophe in Pakistan became clear, former UMB students in the country immediately collected and participated in the affected areas to get food and water to remote villages.

The second election was final. Professor Hans Fredrik Hoen is elected as Rector at UMB from the 1st of August 2010.

Candidate Ole Gjølberg got 39,60 % of the votes and Hans Fredrik Hoen got 32,79 of the votes.  None of them got the necessary majority (50 %). A new election will be held from 19.4. at 12:00 to 21.4. at 12:00.
