0 November 2010 - The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), the University in Oslo (UiO) and the University of Minnesota (UMN), U.S.A., will be expanding collaboration activities within research and education under a new tri-partite agreement for strategic cooperation signed in Washington D.C. on 18 October.

Candidate Ole Gjølberg got 39,60 % of the votes and Hans Fredrik Hoen got 32,79 of the votes. None of them got the necessary majority (50 %). A new election will be held from 19.4. at 12:00 to 21.4. at 12:00.
