Tonje Grave

Kanchan Karki who was hit by lightning on campus Ås 3. July, died yesterday at Oslo University Hospital, Aker.

The 32-year-old man who was from Nepal, studied economy at the University for Life Sciences for several years and lived in student accommodation "Pentagon."

Rector Knut Hove says his thoughts today go both to the Kanchan Karki's family in Nepal and the Nepali community in Ås. - I feel with family, friends and fellow students in this tragic situation that is particularly difficult because the accident happened so far from his home country,  Hove says .
