The Research Group in Geosciences is part of Section of Geomatics, a unit of 9 permanent and 5 temporary fulltime positions and 4 adjunct professors (20%), with expertise andteaching duties in geodesy, surveying, photogrammetry, remote sensing, GIS, andcartography. R&D-activities of the section are in engineering applications and in studies of natural surface processes on planet Earth.
Projects are conducted in satellite- and ground based gravity, GNSS, glaciology/geomatics, and satellite remote sensing.
The Research Group in Geosciences is a sub-unit of the Geomatics Section of the Department of Mathematical Sciences and Technology.
