Conference - Husdyrforsøksmøtet 2011

Resources and their utilization provide the setting for the opening of Husdyrforsøksmøtet. The programme goes on to cover feeding, breeding, animal health, reproduction, animal environment as concerns cattle, sheep and goats, poultry, pigs and horses, as well as product quality of milk and meat, greenhouse gases from agriculture, animal welfare, green care plus economy and reorganization.

The conference takes place in February 2011.
ParticipantsAt Husdyrforsøksmøtet, a wide variety of people come together: scientists, veterinary surgeons, consultants, advisors and teachers, in order to exchange knowledge within the field of farm animals. The conference provides a unique opportunity for scientists to present new research results to their colleagues as well as to other parties within the animal husbandry environment in Norway.
OrganizersThe conference is organized through a collaborative effort between the National Veterinary Institute (Veterinærinstituttet), the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science (Norges veterinærhøgskole) and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), and takes place every second year. The conference is of long standing within the Norwegian animal husbandry community: this year’s event is the 28th in an unbroken series.
