International seminar on animal welfare
Janne Karin BrodinAt the occasion of Honorary Doctor Donald Broom’s going into retirement this autumn, an international seminar is held in Festsalen, Studentsamfunnet UMB, on Thursday 19th November 2009 at 09:00 – 16:00 hrs.

The seminar will be opened by UMB Rector Knut Hove. The programme includes a series of lectures by national and international specialists within the field. In addition to this, the Brazilian Ambassador to Norway will speak on Dr. Broom’s importance for the development of animal welfare in Brazil.
Register in advance with Professor Bjarne Braastad within November 15th 2009.
