Welcome to a seminar on strategies to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases from animal husbandry, results achieved and further tasks

Time: June 29th 2011, at 10:00 – 16:15

Place: Department of Animal and Aquacultural Studies, Norwegian University of Life Sciences (lecture hall H109)

The seminar will be conducted in two sessions
In the first session (before lunch) there will be three lectures on strategies to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases from animal husbandry.

After lunch, we will present information on results achieved, current status and further tasks in the project “Increased value creation in food production through characterizing and mitigating emissions of greenhouse gases from agriculture in Norway” . This is a large cooperative project including several Norwegian research institutions and trade partners, as well as Agriculture and AgriFood, Canada. The project started July 1st 2009 and will be completed June 30th 2012.
