A group of final year students from Biomedical Laboratory Science, Østfold University College (HIØ) did their bachelor project in our laboratory.

This project aimed at designing a set-up for co-culturing bacteria and intestinal epithelial cells in the laboratory. A well defined set-up is important for our further studies of functional consequences of bacteria-host interactions in the intestinal epithelium.
This is the first year we have had exhange students from Østfold University College HIØ in the laboratory.
