Laboratory of Molecular Cell Biology at IKBM was established during 2007 and is headed by Professor Tor Lea.
Our aim is to establish a competence platform at IKBM for the study of health-promoting interactions between microflora, food and the gastrointestinal tract. Our research is basic and hypothesis-driven, exploiting the many relevant methodological developments of modern biomedical research.
