Welcome to the Department of Mathematical Sciences and Technology - IMT

IMT is responsible for technology education at UMB, the discipline-oriented bachelor studies and teacher education. In addition, IMT is responsible for the basic courses offered to all UMB students in physics, mathematics and computer science. IMT’s research activities are aimed at increasing insight into how biological systems work and how they interact with their surroundings. We develop technologies for sustainable development based on a broad understanding of the basic processes in environmental systems.
