We are pleased to see that you are one of the accepted candidates for our 2-year Master program in Ecology at the Department of Ecology and Natural Resource Management (INA) at UMB. We are confident that you have made a vice decision in selecting our study program.

To some extent our students have different academic background when starting on our Master program. We do hope that this can contribute to a varied and stimulating study environment.
Our Master program also offers a large number of optional courses implying that each of you will structure your individual study plan in close collaboration with our study advisor. In this way we can offer a flexible study program tailored to your preferences and at the same time ensure that the plan meets the requirements of our Master degree.
INTRODUCTORY SEMINARIn order to asquint yourself with our Department we arrange an introductory seminar for our bachelor- and master students Monday 15th of August.
You will find the program for that day here.
Your first academic day will be on the 16th of August when the compulsory course Conservation Biology (
NATF300) start.
