Welcome to all new students to the UMB School of Economics and Business. You have some interesting years to come with many academic challenges and good experiences to bring with you in your future career and life.
Professor Richard Green will hold this PhD course at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), Ås, 30 August - 3 September.
- How to reduce food insecurity in Ethiopia? That is the question Sosina Bezu Chiksa will answer in her trial lecture for the PhD degree. She will also defend her thesis titled "Rural nonfarm employment in Ethiopia: Participation, impacts and dynamics" on August 20th, 2010.
The climate summit in Copenhagen last December failed to reach a legally binding agreement that can limit global warming to 2 degrees. This mini-seminar will present different perspectives on the climate negotiation process.
