Application for the MSc program in Development and Natural Resource Economics and NOMA Scholarships

The application form is now available for the third batch of students to be admitted under the NOMA program. Please read the instructions on the application form thoroughly before you complete the form!

You should also be aware of the following:

1. ONLY citizen’s of Malawi, Uganda and Ethiopia are eligible for these scholarships.
2. You need to submit three identical copies of the application. Two are to be sent directly to UMB in Norway and one is sent to the participating university in your own country.

Qualification requirements for the NOMA scholarships
Selection of students will be on a competitive basis and be based on the following criteria and requirements:

a. Undergraduate or bachelor’s degree in economics, agricultural economics, statistics, mathematics or equivalent.
b. Relevant professional experience after the bachelors degree
c. Leave of absence from job in home country
d. Statement of purpose
e. Proficiency in English

Application deadline for 2009 is April 1st. The application must be post-stamped by this date.
