Brage - electronic submission of Master’s theses at UMB
Brage-gruppen
From 3 May 2010, all UMB students must submit the electronic version of their Master's theses in Brage.
On 18 November 2009, the Education Committee decided that Master’s theses must be submitted electronically as well as in a printed version.
Brage - internet portal for submission The electronic versions are to be submitted to UMB’s open institutional archive Brage. The theses will be made available worldwide free of charge via search engines such as NORA, Google etc. They will also be registered in Bibsys Ask (the library database) with a link to the full text document.
You must always submit an electronic version of your Master’s thesis in Brage – even if you restrict access to the thesis. The Brage group will ensure that the thesis is not published until the time bar period has expired.
For you as a student, this means • Better marketing of yourself and your thesis. • You will be given a permanent internet address that you can include links to in your CV or on your homepage. • You will retain the copyright to your thesis, but UMB is permitted to publish it on the internet.
