Problems with accessing BibsysX from ISI, CAB, etc. (08.08.05) The most likely reason is that you have installed software to block pop-ups (e.g. Google Toolbar). Solution: Remove or re-configure your pop-up blocking software.
VPN - off campus access to electronic resources (29.07.05) The license agreements for most of the Library's electronic resources allow remote (off campus) access to staff and students at UMB. Read more
Google Scholar (10.07.05) Use Google Scholar to find articles from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities, as well as scholarly articles available across the web. You should not rely on Google Scholar for up to date information. Remember, Google Scholar is just BETA. The Library - change of name (14.01.05) As a consequence of that the Agricultural University of Norway has become the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), the Library is changing name to the Norwegian University Library of Life Sciences (UBMB). Please notice that our collections are now registered as UBMB in the BIBSYS database (former NLH).
Reference Management Tools (15.04.03) The Library has signed a site licence agreement for RefWorks, Reference Manager and EndNote. The programs are now free to use for staff and students. Read more
