The Norwegian Health Library / Helsebiblioteket

Ann Sogge and Ingeborg Hvaale

On the initiative of Health UMB, the University Library has come to an agreement with the Norwegian Health Library.

The Norwegian Health Library is a collaboration between the Norwegian Knowledge Centre for the Health Services and the Norwegian Directorate of Health. The aim is to create a digital library for specialist – and the primary health services giving access to international research.

Access
Some of the resources have national access (from all Norwegian IP-addresses) while others are limited to staff and studentes at the participating institutions*.
Staff and students at UMB do not need to log on (IP access).
Norsk Elektronisk Legehåndbok (NEL) is not a part of the agreement and only provides access for registered users (health personnel).
