A visit from Dr. Jalal, program coordinator for Norwegian Church Aid in Afghanistan on June 26th and 27th
Evy JørgensenThis coming Monday and Tuesday, June 26th and 27th, we will be getting a visit from Dr. Jalal, program coordinator for Norwegian Church Aid (Kirkens nødhjelp) in Afghanistan. We are in the process of conducting a livelihood survey in Dai Kundi District, and are currently analyzing the first round of field data, and preparing for follow-up this fall.
If there is an interest in hearing a bit about our work, some of the very preliminary findings, and other work the NCA is doing in Afghanistan, or the situation in Afghnistan in general, we could plan an informal discussion for Tuesday the 27th at 12:30. Please let me know if you would be interested in joining such a discussion so we can prepare a bit. Dr Jalal, a medical doctor with a lot of development experience, would be a main partner if we manage to receive funding for our Poverty and Peace application to NFR.
