Hassan Guyo Roba successfully defended his PhD dissertation on Friday 12th September



Dissertation title:
Global goals, local actions: A framework for integrating indigenous knowledge and ecological methods for rangeland assessment and monitoring in northern Kenya".


Lecture title:

"How have approaches to the study of land degradation changed over the last 30 years and what role has the recognition and incorporation of indigenous knowledge played in this so far? What do you foresee as the most important research challenges ahead in this field?"
