New seminar series starts on 12 January

Joanna Boddens-Hosang

The Noragric seminar series starts the year with two guest lecturers on 12 January who will present and discuss their work. They are Prof. David Barton, George Washington University, USA, and PhD candidate Sidsel Grimstad, Australia.

Sidsel Grimstad will present findings from her research on two agriculture based tourism micro-clusters in Norway (Vikebygd Landskapspark) and in Australia (the Greening Process of Lovedale) from 12:15-13:45.

Prof. Barton will focus on the impact of 9/11 and the war in Afghanistan and Iraq on the formation of US foreign policy, and will cover issues relating to the Arab Spring, Somalia, and the shift in focus from the Middle East to Asia (conflict and  economical development) from 14:00-15:30.

The lectures will be held in the Thor Larsen Loft, Tivoli, Noragric.
