Congratuations Gulcheen Aqil and AKRSP!
One of Noragric's former MNRSA students, Gulcheen Aqil, has recently received an award from AASHA (Association Against the Harassment of Women, Pakistan) on behalf of the Aga Khan Rural Support Program (AKRSP) for her work as Gender Coordinator in promoting the interests of women in the Northern Areas of Pakistan.
The AASHA award is given to organizations that have shown a sustained interest and effort in including both men and women in their work force and making special efforts to have the environment more dignified for both, and in particular are committed to addressing the issue of sexual harassment and other gender discriminatory practices and attitudes. We congratulate both Gulcheen and AKRSP!
