Processes of the climate system
Josie Teurlings
<
Researchers at Noragric do research dealing with the ecosystem processes such as soil fluxes of green-house gases (Carbon dioxide, methane and Nitrous oxide) that are relevant for atmospheric increase in greenhouse gases influencing the climate system. The group has also conducted research on carbon dynamics and sequestration in terrestrial systems relevant for climate change mitigation. Recent work in India and Nepal concern climate gas flux in response to agricultural intensification and various types of disturbances in forest land. This research is in the process of publication.
