Research possibilities at CIAT

Josie Teurlings

Ruben Echeverría and Carry Fowler, want to make Norwegian students aware of the many interesting opportunities they may find at CIAT for carrying out their M.S. and PhD research.

Research opportunities range from biotechnology, genetic resources, climate change, soils, gender, GIS, and others in addition to our mandated crops.

Given that the security situation has improved so much in the past several years, CIAT has become again a very attractive place for about 150 students every year that carry out their research at CIAT headquarters or in the regions. For them CIAT is the ideal place to get connected to international networks and to continue a career in international development.
