Stig Jarle comments on the hostage taking of Danish family by Somali pirates

Joanna Boddens-Hosang

Concerns about the situation of the Danish family captured by Somali pirates whilst sailing in the Indian Ocean last week are shared by Stig Jarle Hansen, Noragric's "pirate expert".

The family of five includes three children and two crew members. Their exact whereabouts are unknown and Hansen has shed his views on the matter in various media, including NRK news last evening (3 March 2011).
