Tanzanian International Guest Students (CCIAM) at UMB

Evy Jørgensen

The five-year Climate Change Impacts, Adaptation and Mitigation (CCIAM) programme is a collaboration effort between researchers in Norway and Tanzania. The programme has awarded scholarships to several Tanzanian PhD fellows who are linked to the projects under the programme.

Marco Njana, Abel Masota, Angelingisi Makatta, Iddi H. Hassan, Hassan S.B. Shelukindo, Severin KalongaHabiba Mtongori, Francis Mwakapuja, Ernst Mauya, Beatrice C. Tarimo, Chelestino Balama and Kanizio Manyika are the PhD fellows who have arrived to stay at UMB as International Guest Students for one semester.

Some of these students will be working at INA. Noragric, in collaboration with the University of Oslo, has responsibility for Habiba while Angelingisi, Chelestino and Kanizio will get their office place at Noragric.
