Translated to English the title would be ‘Political ecology: environment, people and power’. While being a textbook for students, it is also targeted to a broad academic audience.
The book gives an introduction to political ecology as an approach focusing on the importance of studying power relations in order to understand environmental issues. This implies a critical look at environmental knowledge production and environmental governance.
