Evy Jørgensen

The RAPID (Rights and Power in Development) cluster has the pleasure of inviting all staff to an open meeting with Professor Ken Conca from the School for International Service, American University, Washington D.C USA.
Date:19 June 2012. Time: 12.30-14.00 Venue: Thor Larsens Loft.

Professor Conca who is in Norway as a Fullbright scholar, is visiting us in connection with the partnership his School has with Noragric/UMB. Following a short presentation of his home institution and his own research work, there will be opportunity to discuss the development of this partnership and other possibilities for collaboration.

Professor Conca works on a series of topics of relevance to us here at Noragric i.e. global environmental governance, environmental peacebuilding in war-torn societies, environmental politics and policy in the United Nations system, water governance, and environmental policy analysis. He is also a member of the United Nations Environment Programme’s Expert Advisory Group on Conflict and Peacebuilding.
