TVERRforsk funding of research across boundaries
Elin KubberødTVERRforsk is a research concept development scheme aimed at supporting research ideas and cooperation in the establishment phase. The seed grant funding is intended to be used for the discussion, development and testing of research ideas which will eventually lead to a more extensive project proposal and an application for funding from an external source
This call focuses on new and curiosity-driven research collaboration across disciplines and/or research departments at UMB. Funding will be awarded to 3 project ideas for 2012.
The Main Criteria for TVERRforsk:
Innovative, Curiosity-Driven, Interdisciplinary, Collaboration-Oriented
Each project has a duration of two years with funding of NOK 200 000 for the first year and up to NOK 100 000 for the following year based on an evaluation.
The application form for TVERRforsk is attached. Please send the application to elin.kubberod@umb.no and a copy to postmottak@umb.no with the reference number 2012/934 by 20 th September 2012.
Reminder for projects under the programme financed from 2011: Deadline for progress report and application for further funding is set to 1th of november 2012
