| Objective of course |
|
Provide knowledge of the key contributions within a specific area of development economics: development aid. What are the motivations behind aid? Does it work, or rather: under what conditions does aid work? How to measure aid effectiveness? |

| Course contents |
|
| The course will review 12-15 key articles within development aid. The class will meet once a week (2 hours) to present and discuss that article. The course ends with a 3-day written take home exam. |
