Objective of course  

The course will give students an advanced introduction into how energy markets and policy affect the production and distribution of different energy technologies and forms in Norway and Europe.

   
Course contents  
The course shows how the relationship between energy resources, technology, markets and policy influence energy production and distribution locally, nationally and internationally. The course will present themes such as supply and demand in energy markets, price formation, trading systems, policy instruments and risks, as well as national and international energy policies.
