| Objective of course |
|
The course will provide at the start a hands-on experience of basic 3D modelling, using standard modelling packages such as AutoCAD and SketchUp for landscape designers. Students will gain knowledge of basic modelling and visualization techniques with materials and textures, virtual lights/sunlight and cameras, and rendering stills. The techniques learned in the course will be then be applied to a selected landscape design project. At project stage, students could work in groups or individuals. The final output from studentgroup is expected to be a 3D model representing many of aspects the project. |
