Welcome to new UMB students

Welcome new students to the Norwegian University of Life Sciences!
We are looking forward to seeing you here in Ås.

On this page, you will find useful information regarding your studies.

Important things to remember:

- Apply for accommodation.

- Introduction Programme 2011. Monday, 08 August - 12 August. New international students are welcome and encouraged to join.

The Programme will give students an overview of useful services and practical information that may help you as you arrive and settle in Norway. 
 
- Registration. All new students should register the weekend of 13-14th of August.

- ”Graskurs”.  Wednesday, 17 August, starting at 12:00 pm. An introduction event to the student societies in Ås.

- Matriculation – Friday 9 September at 1:00 pm.

- Computer service. The Student Computer Service (Datatjenesten) is where you obtain your student card, get help with card access, and receive you user name and password for computer access on campus and in your SiÅs accommodation.

- Bachelor, 3 years

- Master, 2 years
