This master programme connect different groups of "Animal breeders" and cooperation tighter through supervising master students together as joint supervision
Assosiated professor Tormod Ådnøy and professor Gunnar Klemetsdal, both belonging to animal breeding group from Department of Animal and Aquacultural Sciences (IHA) in Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), talks gladly about the increased effect of cooperations between scientists through European master in Animal Breeding and Genetics (EM-ABG programme).
"Through cooperation with five other universities involved in EM-ABG programme, we got a new opportunity to cooperate and to be better known with collegues from other universities. This programme enrich both students and us" says those two scientists.
"We have motivated and enthusiastic students in this programme, and it gives of course a good and developing interaction between student and teacher. Many of them are well qualified candidates as further carrier in PhD fellowship researchers" says professor Klemetsdal.
Scince 2007 IHA/UMB has received 19 students from European Master in Animal Breeding and Genetics (EM-ABG).
