Non-degree

UMB may admit applicants as non-degree students provided that academic requirements are fulfilled.
Application form (pdf) If the applicant only applies for courses offered in “English” or in “English on request”, then the Norwegian language requirement is waived.
Non-degree students can choose from the 650 courses of which more than 30% are given in English. Please see the course catalogue.
Some courses are part of a semester package in a specific field or as a suggested course for a specific exchange period. See more on semester packages.
The application must include a copy of the applicant’s passport and a copy of her/his university transcript. Please note, however, that an admission letter will only be issued once UMB has received an original university transcript sent directly to UMB in a sealed envelope from the applicant’s university.
