Course description - annual revision The course registration database is opened annually for changes in course description and study programmes. Information about procedures in connection with the collection and approval of changes in study programs and courses, including the timetable for the work, is communicated by the Department of Accademic Affairs in February. Course combination Combinations of courses (which courses should be possible to combine for which class) must be registered in a "timpreg" datadase online. Information about when to register in the database is sent out by mail from the Department of Accademic Affairs twice a year. Generally, the deadline for registration is 2 weeks. Schedule information on courses in the block or parallel An Excel file with information from "emnereg" about courses in the current block or parallel is sent out from the Department of Accademic Affairs to study councilors and U-leaders at the departments be e-mail. If the information in the column "educational info" in the Excel file that is sent out, is not sufficient, information must be sent by mail to the Department of Accademic Affairs. Courses marked with yellow will not be planned. The Department of Accademic Affairs will make schedules based on this information and last years schedule. If the course need a bigger room, more hours etc. and this is not mentioned in the file, information must be sent to timeplan@umb.no. The deadline for registration of schedule information is provided the e-mail.
Time and exam scheduling The time and exam schedule is based on registeret information in the databases "emnereg" and "timpreg" and from last years schedules. The time and exam schedules is sent to the departments on a short hearing before it is published online. Any comments on the schedule must be sent to timeplan@umb.no.
