• Real classroom

All lectures will take plave in room BT.3A.16 which you find on the third floor in building 44 on the map (see right hand menu).

• Campus & transportation (map and how to find)

• Visa
You do not need a residence permit if you stay in Norway for less than three months, but you must apply for a visa if you come from a country with a visa requirement for entering Norway. For more information please see UDI or directly at Who does not need a visa.

• Travel and health insurance
All course participants are expected to have their own travel and health insurance for the entire period in Norway. If you need to apply for a visa you will need to attach documentation of valid travel and medical insurance (minimum of EUR 30,000) to the application. If you do not have a travel insurance (including health) from before and need to sign an insurance for the course in Norway, we will refund the costs. In this case original receipts need to be presented.

• Costs for housing & food during the course
The following expenses will be covered by the programme:

Board and lodging on university campus (a single room with shared bathroom and kitchen)
Travel costs (cheapest option)
Visa costs

• Food & drink
In Aas you can find a number food stores and shops. Most shops are located in the vicinity of the campus, while on campus you will find canteens.

• Weather
Summers in Norway are mild and comfortable while winters are snowy and often very cold. During the winter months temperatures are usually below 0 degrees Celsius, while in the summer months temperatures are usually around 20 degrees.
