Preparations and expectations

Josie Teurlings

Reading material

A reading list will be offered to the participants 2-3 months before the start of the course. It is expected that the participants have read the recommended core readings before coming to the course. It is also expected that participants think through potential topics for a group term paper that they could be interested in working on during the course and finalising within 2.5 months after the course is completed.

Report series
A report will be made with all the papers submitted for the exam of the course and graded pass. Each participant (or group) is therefore expected to incorporate the comments given by the course responsible if the paper is given a “pass” mark and resubmit the paper before the course certificate is sent.

Credits
After a successful completion of each course, the participants will be awarded a diploma and 10 ECTS. The criteria for successful completion are as follows

-    completed the prior requirements to participating in the course – i.e., reading preparations
-    participated in all elements of the course
-    written a group term paper that is graded pass.

A separate course home page will be set up for which accepted participants will be given a password.
