3D-HISTORY course video presentation

Ramzi Hassan

Students presented the final work for the Stend/Bergen project at VR-Lab.

The 3D-HISTORY project with the case study of Stend in Bergen/Norway proposes a digital approach to preserve historical evidences. The goal was to build a digital model of the historical garden of Stend and scenes, which can be used for historical studies. It can be used then to represent, analyze, and explore the past, current, and the future status of the place. Furthermore, the digital models could be used in Virtual Reality visualization systems to reveal the hidden history of the site. The Virtual systems could be then installed in the sites and in museums in order to increase the awareness of the public on the historical dimension. link to the video presentations for the final students work is available here.
